Yes! Of course, we need RICE for making Sushi!!!
you can use any kind of rice crispy cereal for the rice crispy sushi.
Organic and whole-grain cereal.
How to make rice crispy sushi?
Rice crispy cereal, Brown rice syrup, Coconut oil, salt.
Step1. Make chocolate sheets!
Melt the chocolate in a hot water bath.
Pour onto a cooking sheet and spread thinly to 7 inches X 10 inches.
About 2~3mm thick.
Then put it into the fridge for 4~5 minutes.
Step2. Brown rice syrup
Heat brown rice syrup and boil for 30 seconds. Turn it off and mix with coconut oil. Do NOT boil over 30 seconds because it will be too hard to mix with the rice crispy.
Step.3 Mix with rice crispy
Mix cereal and brown rice syrup quickly.
Step4. Dry fruits
Pick colourful dry fruits for the inside of the rice crispy sushi.
Any dry fruits you can be used for it. Dry mango, dry strawberry, dry pineapple etc….
The big pieces need to be cut in smaller pieces/sticks.
Step5. Putting on the dry fruits
Take the chocolate out from the fridge, then quickly put rice crispy cereal on the chocolate sheet. Then put on the dry fruits in the middle.
Step6. Roll the rice crispy sushi!
Roll it the same way that you would roll sushi.
Roll with the parchment sheet and twist both ends. Leave it in the fridge for 10~15 minutes.
When the chocolate cools down completely, take it out from the fridge.
Step.7 Cut rice crispy sushi
It is easier to cut the parchment sheet. I usually cut it a 1/2 inch thin. But just be careful NOT to cut it too thin. It can break easily.
